Submitted talks - 2025 Great Plains Water Conference

September 18 - 19, 2025 | Omaha, NE

We are now accepting submissions for breakout session presentations at the 2025 Great Plains Water Conference!  To submit your presentation for consideration, please use the form below.

Held September 18 and 19 at the Milo Bail Student Center on the University of Nebraska Omaha campus, this multi-state event will discuss Securing Water Resources for Tomorrow.

Join researchers, governments, nonprofits, state agencies, and students from Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Iowa, Missouri, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Wyoming to share how communities across the Great Plains are planning for their future water resources.

The length of the talks depends on the number of submissions we receive, but we anticipate each breakout speaker to have 20 minutes to present.  Breakout sessions will be held on September 18 and 19. Accepted speakers will receive free conference registration.

We have outlined a few topic areas below and welcome submissions on all related topics.  If you have questions about this event, contact Ann Briggs at annbriggs@nebraska.edu.

Session proposals will be accepted through June 20. Selected speakers will be notified by the end of June.
