The 2024 Investiture of University of Nebraska System President Jeffrey P. Gold, M.D. Faculty/Administration RSVP

Faculty and Administration are invited to participate in the investiture ceremony by marching in the formal processional. Processional members will be seated in the front rows of the Nebraska State Capitol Rotunda and will be recognized in the printed investiture program. Processional members will be required to wear academic regalia and the cost of the regalia is the responsibility of the participant. Rental regalia orders and program information are due by Friday, August 2, 2024.

A reception will be held 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's International Quilt Museum, 1523 N. 33rd Street, Lincoln, NE 68503. Remarks at 6:30 p.m.

Parking and Hotel

PARKING: Reserved parking will be provided in the Carriage Park Garage downtown at 1128 L. Street, Lincoln NE, 68508. You will receive a map and parking instructions once you have RSVP'd and closer to the ceremony date. A shuttle to the Capitol will be provided.

HOTEL: If you need hotel accommodations, a block of rooms has been reserved at the Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel at 333 S. 13th Street, Lincoln, NE 68508. Please call (402) 474-7474 for details or click on the link to book your reservation.

Payment is due when you pick up the regalia on Tuesday, September 3 or Wednesday, September 4 at the UNL University Bookstore at Nebraska City Union lower level. You may pay using a credit card or check. For payment questions, please contact the University Bookstore email 0507gm@follett.com. If you are unable to pick-up your robe, the bookstore will have it at the Capitol for you and payment can be made at that time.
